| Guru Ram Das was born in 1534 AD at Chuni Madi in Lahore (now in Pakisan). As the fourth Sikh Guru he enjoined his followers to be true Sikhs, to always be imbibed with the Name of God and to Sing the Glory of God. Guru Ram Das composed 638 hymns depicting his experience of the divine which are a part of the Sat Guru Granth Sahib. | |||||
